<a href="http://www.siliconstrategies.com/story/OEG20030404S0020">Silicon Strategies</a> rapporterar att minnesstandardliseringsorganet JEDEC har tillsatt en extern grupp för att tillse att kvaliten håller stanarden på minnesmoduler. Detta torde innebära att tillverkare som inte har full JEDEC-certificering försvinner alltmer, och den övergripande kvaliten på speciellt lågprismoduler höjs.<br><br><I>The JEDEC official said DRAM memory modules especially need to be JEDEC-certified. He asserted that more than a hundred suppliers around the world make modules, with some trying to cut costs by not fully adhering to JEDEC standards.
