<a href="http://www.xbitlabs.com/">X-bit labs</a> har skrivit en intressant <a href="http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/editorial/display/cooling.ht...">artikel</a> om kylning. Artikeln talar inte bara om varför datorkomponenter bör kylas ner utan även om olika lösningar, hur de fungerar samt fördelar respektive nackdelar med varje modell. Intressant läsning för intresserade.<br><br><i>Moreover, just a few years ago we were only concerned about cooling the central processor, but now we have the North Bridge of the chipset, the graphics processor, even the hard disk drive. With the spindle rotation speed of 15,000rpm, no technologies save high-end HDDs from heating up. Moreover, this is not the CPU, when you can claim once a year that the new packaging shape requires a new cooler. The form-factor requirements in case of HDDs are very high, so that the manufacturers have to do their best here. However, as we have already said there already appear sets of two or three fans, installed into the front panel and blowing the air at the HDD.</i><p>
