Ars Technica har skrivit första delen i en serie om hur ett moderkort fungerar. I den första delen går de igenom de grundläggande frågorna som moderkortets funktioner, layout och olika komponenter som finns på ett moderkort. Bland annat går de igenom hur nordbryggan fungerar och vilken funktion den har.
