Highpoint Rocket 620 och 622 är två nya instickskort med stöd för SATA 6,0 Gbps. Den förstnämnda modellen innehåller två interna anslutningar medan den sistnämnda klarar av lika många externa eSATA 6,0 Gbps. Båda baseras på en kontrollerkrets från Marvell, kan hantera lagringsenheter via SATA 6,0/3,0/1,5 Gbps, har stöd för NCQ (Native Command Queuing) och ansluts till PCI Express 2.0 x1.
The Rocket 600 series brings a new level of cost effective pricing and will help drive mass adoption to the next generation of SATA 6Gb/s technology. They are fully industry standard AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) compliant and deliver Out-of-Box Ready installation for the majority of operating systems.
Nykomlingarna dyker upp i butiker inom kort och beräknas kosta cirka 600 (Rocket 620) respektive 700 kronor (Rocket 622) inklusive moms.
