Bahnhof IP-telefoni - Hur sätter man upp det?

Hej!

looks like Bahnhof no longer gives sip-settings. They want me to use their tilgin router for voip purpose. But I prefer to use my own sip client. Does somebody know, how I can get the config info? Their support refuses to give it. Is there a way to read it from the Tilgin router?

I don't know what policy Bahnhof has of today. When I helped someone set up SIP with Bahnhof in January all information could be found on the paper or PDF with the headline "Kundspecifik information". However I believe it was stated when ordered that the customer wished to use their own hardware. In the document mentioned above it says: "Telefonnumret är aktiverat på följande enheter: Egen SIP-box, konfigurera den med följande information:" followed by: SIP-användarnamn, SIP-lösenord and SIP-server.

Also Bahnhof says in their FAQ to open the following ports:

Skrivet av Bahnhof:

De portar som ska vidarebefordras är:
69 – UDP
5060 – 5080 TCP och UDP
9000 – 14000 UDP
50000 – 60000 UDP

@pemt512:
thanks for your answer. Thats exactly what I'd need. I am fed up with those locked triple play boxes which can only be configured remotely by the operator using TR-069. I already had a Thomson box from Telia, with the result, that I couldn't use my fastnät phone for 2 years. You have to buy the boxes but you dont own them concerning access. Additionally it looks like there are 2 classes of users in bahnhof case. At least they offered me a box switched to bridge mode with sip-client operational only. In that case I would have to take the analog signal from Tilgin and feed it into my Fritz!box - which makes absolutely no sense. Tilgin would probably block the above sip- ports for using other sip-numbers in the fritzbox.
Another way would be sniffing the traffic between the tilgin and the fiber box in order to find out the sip-user/pass and server information. That means another unused triple-play box laying around. I'll soon have a museum.
Now I am just thinking of giving up using fastnät and use mobile phone only. too bad.

There are other providers of sip telephony, Ask when order if they can give out the sip credentials so you can use your own solution instead.

If they can`t give out the information and try to lock you in their boxes, then you better search for Another more helpful provider.

I use a small operator independent from my isp and they gave me acess to my sipbox adminstration pages. I have also my sip credentials so i can set up sipclient in my cellphone.

I have a working ASUS RT-AC66U router with a gigaset 530 connected to it and all working.

No port forwarding used. (I also have uPNP turned off, contrary to an earlier post).

I changed the standard ports to some high-numbered ports according to these instructions:
http://www.gigaset.com/fileadmin/legacy-assets/NAT_troublesho...

In the router I have

WAN -> Nat Passthrough -> SIP Passthrough -> Disabled

I recall that I used this thread
#15031816
and followed what "theuserman" says there (no port forwarding needed).

Thanks for all the answers and tips.
I checked different VOIP operators and found no solution. Either they dont answer or they need swedish Personnummer or they dont offer real prepaid (prepaid account where they take monthly fee its not really prepaid, even if I could use it for phone calls I´d have to pay for all these months I am not in the summerhouse).
Maybe a little bit OT but my possible solution: I get myself one of those gsm-gateways (quite cheap on ebay) where you can connect old analog telefones. Using a swedish Kontant mobile sim card I get what I am looking for: real prepaid and the possibility of using kind of fastnät phone for local and emergency calls too. (in my case I will connect it to the fritzbox phone input). Hope it works ...

An update of interest to people thinking about what routers might work: retired my old Asus N66 router and bought a badass Lynksys EA9500. This is not a good router for tinkering - no custom firmware possibility and limited customisation possibility. I was not expecting to be able to get the phone working, but to my surprise I just plugged it in and it worked.
