Hmm...så antingen ett några hundra kr dyrare AX8 som kanske iallafall bör fungera, eller också ASUS A8V-VM som nån confirmat att det funkar med OpenBSD, men jag vet ju inte vad som behövde fixas för att det ska funka, eller vad för versioner det rörde sig om, eller om han körde desktop med fet PCI-E grafik och inte som server osv osv.
Sen blir man ju skrajsen när man läser följande mailkonversation angående ASUS A8V-E Deluxe, men det kanske inte är så likt A8V-VM som det låter på namnet...

Well, I put the nVidia e-GeFORCE 6600 in it. I have no clue if that
would run X-Window or not. It sad to say but I would have been very
happy with just a plain VGA. I put that on in, because it needed an PCi
Express card and I really only needed to load the system up. This is way
over kill! But time was the essence here.
The one I got last month was the Soyo Tek; SY-A37G0, but that doesn't
support the AMD64, plus they didn't have it in stock anymore.

Like some said. May be put it on ice until it's supported better if it
will, or find a cheap PCI Express card as well as a network card you may
have already and put it in. Use it now and as time goes, may be it will
be supported better.
Tror nästan jag chansar på billigare ASUS-kortet, går det åt skogen får jag köpa AX8 och testa det, alternativt köra FreeBSD men det är inte lika kul.
Om någon sagt att "det här Intel-kortet som klarar vanliga DDR och inte måste ha DDR2, samt funkar med energisnåla Celeron, och fortfarande finns att köpa, samt har inbyggt Intel Gbit, funkar med OpenBSD", då hade jag köpt det oavsett pris och skitit i att återanvända min 3000+, men så lätt verkar det inte vara....
VIA känns lite läskigt för alla verkar tycka dom är halvsunkiga typ.
