Jag får upp ett felmeddelande och behöver lite råd innan jag kanske gör någonting tokigt så att allt blir fel.
Min laptop har en 120GB disk
C: System-partition på 30 GB
D: Diverse på 90 GB.
Har kommit så långt i Truecrypt att jag väljer
- Encrypt the system partition or the entire system drive
- Normal system encryption (not hidden)
- Encrypt the whole drive
Då kommer det här felmeddelandet upp.
Jag förstår inte riktigt vad det betyder.
Menar dom att partition D diverse inte kommer att kunna användas om jag gör den här krypteringen? Eller är det om jag försöker skapa nya volymer efteråt, till exempel skapa en ny volym E?
Här är meddelandet i sin helhet:
"WARNING: As you are running Windows XP/2003, after you start encrypting the drive, you must NOT create any extended (logical) partitions on it (you may only create primary partitions). Any extended partitions on the drive would be inaccessible after you start encrypting.
Note: If this limitation is not acceptable, you can go back and choose to encrypt the system partition insted of the entire drive (and in addition to that, you can create partition-hosted Truecrypt volumes within any non-system partitions on the drive.
Alternatively, if this limitation is not acceptable, you may want to consider upgrading to windows Vista or later version of Windows (you can encrypt an entire system drive containing extended/logical partitions on Windows Vista or later)."
