Fråga om grafikort i FT02 Chassi

Har ägt ett FT02 i ett par år. Har inte hört någonting om det där med heatpipsen, däremot att tillverkaren (Silverstone) rekommenderar grafikkort av referenstyp pga var insuget sitter. Anyway jag har använt chassit först med ett gtx460 talon attack och sedan ett gtx680 lightning, båda korten med tysta specialanpassade lösningar för kylningen och det har inte inneburit några problem alls. Det enda man kanske bör tänka på är att det inte får plats hur långa kort som helst.. iaf inte om man har tänkt placera en radiator strax ovanför AP-fläktarna, isf får man modda chassit lite. Det finns det några som har gjort (har sett foton på sådana byggen).

Referens vore vell bäst så den tar luften i botten och blåser ut, men jag har 2st 670 med Asus DC2 och dom går inte över 75c så allt är nog lugnt

Grattis till att du köpt ett helt underbart kvalitè Chassi, ett tips dock: mät hur långt kort som går in som max, för det är jäkla begränsat iom att moderkortet är vänt... sedan spelar det inte någon roll vilket kort du väljer för värmen stiger ju uppåt + att lådan har ett övertryck så det flåsar ut luft där den kan..iom att den har övertryck så blir det inget damm på insidan.

Q: I have a custom cooler, how do I know which way the heat pipes should be situated to obtain the best performance in the FT02?

A: There are two main types of heat pipes used in popular aftermarket coolers, they are groove and powder. Groove heat pipes are very susceptible to gravity while powder heat pipes are less so. To achieve best performance in either heat pipe technology, they need to be placed horizontally or have the heat source side located below the other end of the heat pipe. We recommend choosing and installing components with heat pipes carefully by taking into consideration of the following examples:

As the illustrations above show, most enthusiast motherboards with heat pipes will work fine in the FT02, the heat source is located below other parts of the heat pipe.

The illustration here shows a VGA cooler that will not work well in the FT02 because the heat source side (touching the GPU) ends up being located higher than the other end.
