Spela DOOM 3 med 2013 Grafik!

Har precis spelat igenom DOOM III igen med lite grafikmoddar och det blir som ett helt nytt spel!

Spelar med allt på max, förutom FSAA i 1920x1200 med ett Geforce 580 Direct CUII och en I52500K@4,3

Moddarna som används är följande.

1.Sikkmod

4.6th Venom's Doom 3 HQ mainmenu

För att installera moddarna
1.Tanka ner alla filer.
2.Börja med Sikkmod och extracta den i root katalogen av Doom 3
3.Drag-and drop Wulfen texture pack och Monoxhead in i Skkmod foldern ifrån åvan.
4.Exctrakta alla filer ifrån Venom Doom 3 HQ mainmenu till base mappen i Doom 3 foldern.

lägg till en genväg så att du startar med mods , om det fungerar skall du se en ny meny ingame som heter "sikkmod"

saxat ifrån Sikkmod: För ännu snyggare texturer.
"Note: If you want to use POM (Parallax Occlusion Mapping), copy the files "interaction.vfp" and "test.vfp" from the sikkmod\glprogs\POM folder into the base of the glprogs folder (i.e sikkmod\glprogs). If you don't know, POM is what makes the textures "pop", and actually become dimensional instead of being flat. It makes it look great but it does take a hit on the frame-rate."

För att få till custom upplösning i spelet gör följande.
Skapa en autoexec.config i base mappen i DOOM3 foldern.

den skall se ut enligt följande.

r_mode -1
r_customwidth 1920
r_customheight 1200
r_aspectratio 2

Ändra aspectratio till 1 om du kör med en 16:9 monitor (1080p ect)

Ser rätt nice ut, kanske lite väl brighta ljuskällor.

Men kom det inte nyss ut en nyutgåva av DOOM III med bättre gfx?

Id släppte ju ganska nyligen 'Doom 3 BFG Edition' synd att dom inte har så bra grafik direkt från installationen.
Såg riktigt snyggt ut nu iaf
Önskar dom kunde göra om dom gammla Doom och Doom II med den grafiken ^^

Kommer ihåg vissa delar av doom3 som rätt jobbiga, kanske skulle testa det igen ändå för det där såg rätt hett ut!

Härligt! Tack för tipset.
Doom 3 håller än. Tycker dock orginalet faktiskt ser bättre ut än BFG- köret.

Trevligt.
Tyckte Doom 3 såg riktigt dåligt ut grafiskt, vilket drog ner spelupplevelsen en hel del.
Nu verkar det se ut som jag hade förväntat mig att det skulle se ut från början.

Namn : Jesper | Ålder : 42 | In-game namn : iller
Yrke : Matematisk modellerare (finansiell matematik), mjukvaruutvecklare för risksystem.
Utbildning : Doktor i matematik + en del mat-stat, numme och IT-relaterat.
