Mic funkar ej Mod mic version 4 (Asus Xonar DGX PSI)

Posten kommer vara på engelska hoppas det är ok (Har redan skrivit posten på Reddit så jag är lite bekväm) kommentarer kan självklart vara på svenska och om det är något som behövs förklaras så skriver jag på svenska.

Problem: Mic not responding, got it selected as standard in Line in (ASUS Xonar DGX Audio Device (Mic Symbol)). Under characteristics(Not sure if it’s called so in English its translation) i got Mic boost checked and rest is standard.
In Xonar DGX Audio Center it's set as Mic Boost and Microphone under Mixer (mic advanced), seen on some videos/posts people recommend changing Analogue out to Headphones (not sure how this would affect the mic) but whenever i try to change it from 2 speakers to headphones Xonar crashes. Not sure if matters, but my headphones are not connected to the soundcard i got a external amplifier for that.
It worked yesterday, haven't changed any settings, have had this happen to me before usually i'm just mad for an hour or so and click stuff and then magically it works.
Mic works when connected directly into motherboard but the quality is shit, which leads me to believe it's not the mics fault.
Anyone know of a way to fix this, or got an idea to what might solve it?
