BF1942 server

Hej alla, en polare har ett problem med att sätta upp en BF1942 server, han postade meddelandet nedan på ett engelskt forum och ingen tycktes kunna hjälpa honom. Någon av er som har en aning hur nedan nämnda problem kan lösas?

My comp isn’t mush to brag about. It’s an Intel 450 MHz with 256 Mb ram. I used to run W98 on it and B1942 run quite well on it. No problem to host 12 players from I-net. The funny thing was that I couldn’t use any versions of BFSM above 3A on it. It just wouldn’t start.
Now I changed for Win2000 and to my happiness BFSM 3J worked fine. The sad thing is that BF seems to get no CPU-time.
When I first start BF thrue BFSM the CPU working 100% with BF as long the harddrive is working. When BF is finish loading the CPU drop to about 7-10% of CPU and the framerate is only 10 per sec. The CPU is idle about 70-80%. With my poor computer it should be 0 % idle and 80-90% at BF. When I used W98 the framerate was about 50.

And I am disconnected every time I trying to connect in LAN. I couldn’t be any problem with firewall because I have no problem to connect to BFSM with BFRSM.

I’m not familiar with win 2000 so any suggestions what I can do?
I have test to change priority to different value without notice any change.
