Få vädret på LCD:N

Med hjälp av programmet jaLCDs.

Gå till http://www.weather.com/ och skriv in den stad du vill ha vid siffran 1 då får ni fram vädret för den staden. I adressfältet så ser ni tex http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/local/SWXX0031?from=sea... för stockholm. Koden för Stockholm är då SWXX0031
I config tools lägg till en webserver genom att klicka på knappen : external variables

Nu är det bara att skriva in dom variablerna man vill ha, se längre ner för dom.
Det kan ta någon minut innan det visar rätt på displayen.

Om ni vill ha bilder så måste ni lägga in charfilen också som jag bifogar, det finns ett enkel configfil med.

VARIABLER :

$weathertemp§ = The Temperature
$weatherstatus§ = The Status of the Weather (Raining, Partly Cloudy etc.)
$weatherpic§ = Depending on $weatherstatus§ this variable will either be cloud, rain, or sun. So i have made custom chars under these names so depending ont he weather status the appropriate pic will be shown.

$uvrating§ = The UV Rating example: 0 Minimal
$humidity§ = The Humidity example: 60%
$visibility§ = The Visibility example: Unlimited
$pressure§ = The Pressure example: 75.8 cms
$pressurestate§ = The changing rate of the pressure example: steady
$winddirection§ = The wind direction example: South
$windspeed§ = The Wind Speed example: 27.4 km/h

Om man vill ha vindstyrkan i m/s så skriv detta : $math:$part:1:$math:$len:$windspeed§§-5§:$windspeed§§/36§ m/s

Vill man ha vädret för ytterligare en stad så lägger man till &code[]=xxxxxxx i slutet på adressen där xxxxxx är koden för den staden

Prognos för tre dagar framåt :

The variables you will get are:

X = any number from 1 to 3

$forecastX_day§ = The Name of the Day/Date
$forecastX_status§ = The Status of the day (Mainly Fine)
$forecastX_pic§ = When used with the appropriate char file this will show a picture of a cloud, rain, sun etc. depending on the weather.
$forecastX_max§ = Max Temperature
$forecastX_min§ = Min Temperature
$forecastX_weatherbpic§ = When used in conjuction with the appropriate char file you can display a thermometer which adjusts itself to the temperature (Bottom)
$forecastX_weathertpic§ = When used in conjuction with the appropriate char file you can display a thermometer which adjusts itself to the temperature (Top)
$forecastX_precipitation§ = The Precipitation (10%)

And of course if you are quering multiple cities for weather the number of the city will come in front of the variable.

Det kan ta några minuter innan det börjar fungera. Om du startar TCP/IP interface så ska det listas där.

url-sidan är lite seg, killen som har den ska kolla på det och se om han kan ordna det. Annars ska det uppdateras en gång i minuten om man inte har ändrat något.
