Vad står typ PC3200 för?

Q: What is PC3200, PC4000, PC2700, etc.?
A: This is a memory specification qualifying the Front Side Bus (FSB) frequency the memory will run stable at. PC2700 is capable of running at 333MHz, PC3200 is capable of running at 400MHz and on and on. Remember, most memory will be rated with a timing sequence, such as 3-4-4. Make sure your memory manufacturer's timing applies to it's highest FSB rating (ex. PC2700 3-4-4) else you might suffer a huge loss of performance. For example, Mushkin level II memory, PC2700 is rated at 2-2-2, their PC3200 level II is rated at 2-2-2 as well.
