From the info you pasted from "quick start" it's look to me that this is an application that you have to compile for yourself in the terminal. What you do is you open the terminal (Applications -> Utilities) and browse the the folder where the install files are (with the commands cd, as in regular *nix systems), and then write "sudo ./install" without coutes.
What you need to assure is that you are an administrator to the machine, otherwise "sudo" won't work, and that you have installed apple developer tools.
However this is just a guess, i'm not sure which kind of program this is.
