2) Look at the product page for your motherboard or your motherboard manual and identify what sort of onboard sound you have. 3) Also identify your southbridge chip.
4) If you find that you do have VIA onboard sound, go to the audio drivers page where you will find the drivers for VIA onboard sound. Match your southbridge chip to the tables on the page and download the corresponding driver.
5) If you find that you do not have VIA onboard sound, note the name of the onboard sound you do have and follow the links to downloads or drivers on your motherboard manufacturers web site to find the correct drivers.
