Mandriva Free 2007 på T60 Laptop

Hallå!

Suprise ännu en linux n00b som frågar om något superenkelt! :/

Jag har precis installerat Mandriva Free 2007 på min T60 laptop och jag har problem med att få igång Ethernet och mitt trådlösa nätverkskort.

Som jag fattat det så behöver jag installera:
ipw3945 (har hittat denna ipw3945-kernel-2.6.17.9-tmb-server-1mdvsmp-1.0.12-1mdv2007.0.i586.rpm)
ieee80211 subsystem (ieee80211-1.2.16)
och nyaste linux kärnan? (vilken kärna är det som gäller?)

Jag får inte ihop installationerna och jag skulle uppskatta om någon av er skulle kunna förklara hur man genomför installationerna på iallafall en av de tre sakerna!

Jag vill helst använda RPM då jag inte kan konsollen ännu =(

In order to use the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection driver for Linux you will need the following:

The binary microcode image, available here.
The binary user space regulatory daemon, available here.
The ieee80211 subsystem version 1.1.11 or newer.
Linux kernel 2.6.13 or newer. See README.ipw3945 for information on specific options required to be enabled in the kernel.
Wireless Extensions (v17) and Tools (v28)
For WPA you need a WPA supplicant compatible with the latest versions of the wireless extensions (v18 and newer).
