HD4870X2 BSOD / VPU recover AGHRGR!!!

Hej,

Jag har fortfarande problem med mitt HD4870X2 Sapphire.

Får BSODS i spel när jag kör fullscreen och Video driver recover när jag kör i windowed mode. Har testat alla CCC versioner, driver sweeper mellan varje, installerat om vista 32bit tre gånger, senaste bios.. Inget funkar.

BSODsen kommer lite random men bara när grafikkortet är i 3dmode (dvs då powerplay drar upp hastigheten från grafikkortet i 2D-desktop mode)

Min setup:
Q9300@stock
HD4870X2 Sapphire (8.11 för tillfället)
2x2GB OCZ Reaper PC6400 2,12v RAM
Vista 32bit (sp1)
GIGABYTE DQ6-X48 (Senaste BIOS F8a)

Den kör dock genom 3dmark06 99 loops och prime95 17h.

Såhär ser driver recovern ut i windowed mode, ett rent helvete när man sitter o spelar, framförallt när den BSODar om man kör fullscreen.

När jag kollar i windows-felrapporten står det två saker för varje BSOD:

Hardware Video Error och Shut down unexpectedly.

När jag tar xml filen och kör den i debugg programmet så får jag fram att felet för dessa två är detta:

Hardware Video Error: atikmdag.sys
Shut down Unexpectedly: dxgkrnl.sys

Har senaste directX och dxdiag visar inga fel.

Han har 4870X2, inte "vanliga" 4870. Dessutom är väl problemet med dessa löst nu så kan man flasha bios på grafikkortet är det inga problem att köpa...

Hello. Hade liknande problem med mitt Powercolor 4870 X2. Dock fick jag BSOD i Windows av minsta lilla ansträning. ett löjligt exempel är att 1080*762 i resolution i Windows fick mitt kort att lägga av helt. ibland kunde man inte ens logga in i Windows utan att det lade av.

Ett till symptom kortet hade var att efter drivrutiner installerades blev det värre. Jag upplevde även massa små Pixelbuggar, som knappts syntes om man inte stirrade riktigt hårt, men dom fanns där!! Det kallas även artifactsom inte jag har fel.

Vad jag gjorde för att lösa problemet? Gick tyvärr inte att lösa i mitt fall. skickade in mitt kort på felsökning som ett DOA kort från affären jag köpte den. höll tummarna i 1 dag. Dagen efter fick jag ett nytt kort pga av att kortet var defekt vid post.
höll tummarna att detta kortet skulle funka bättre, annars skulle jag förlora all hopp om Radeon kort.

Results? Kortet funkar PRIMA. sjukt snyggt! min skärm är max 1280*1024 i alla spel. Kan inte riktigt detta med att göra den större. Men alla senaste spel har jag kunnat spelat med MAX inställningar på alla utan ett enda lagg.

Vet dock inte om du borde flasha biosen. Kanske inte är så smart om du vill lämna in varan sen på felsökning.

Skaffa 64 bit ;D? Du har 4gb Ram minne + 2 gb Grafikminne, det är 6 gb medans 32 bit stödjer bara 3. Ditt grafikminne kanske inte räcker till och det kan sega ner proccessorn. ;D

Men jag gissar bara ta detta med en nypa salt ;D.

Lite onödigt o posta hela felrapporten kanske? Tror inte så många orkar läsa den ;D

- Diskarnaa i bra skick? länge sedan du körde en defrag?
- Som tidigare nämt, kör du med fler än en skärm? Testa kör med en skärm isf.
- Märke och modell på din PSU?
- Slit ut allt extra ur burken, se om du får samma problem med bara 1 minnessticka, en disk (+ev en cd), inga extra instickskort förutom grafikkortet etc. (Kort o gott allt som inte behövs för att boota till win)

Underklocka allt med ca 10-15%, cpu, minne, gpu. allt du kan hitta. Det blir inte lika roligt men du kan se om det blir stabilt. Det kan ju vara något som inte lirar i cpu eller MB eftersom du får samma sak med olika grafikkort och olika drivrutiner. Då har du kvar övriga komponenter. Genom att sänka alla hastigheter minskar strömförbrukningen och testar på så vis PSU och i viss mån även de andra komponenterna mot värmefel. Hur kyler du minnet om du inte har någon fläkt?

Det kan vara ett skitfel som ESD om det är ett hemmabygge. Har du fler än en x16 port? Kan du flytta kortet till den andra?

En gissning kan vara att ditt moderkort eller minnen spökar då du säger att du haft liknande problem med ett annat grafikkoer tidigare...

Jag tror jag har ett liknande proglem jag får blåskärm när jag ska börja spela nått. allt börja med när jag bytte E8400 till en Q9650.. någon som har löst detta?

När jag körde med mitt gamla 8800GTX fick jag precis samma fel som du, fast en annan fil. Försökte med allt som internet kan erbjuda, sedan började problemet accelerera och tillslut fick jag ingen bild på skärmen. Det visade sig i slutändan att det var kortet som var defekt.

Gör som nån skrev här och skicka in ditt kort.

Om problemet kvarstår efter byte av grafikkort så borde väl saken vara klar?
Ditt moderkort vill inte spela med dig,enklare än så är det inte?
Eller så har du för klent nätaggregat:))
Läste noggrannare nu,helt klart dålig ström eller moderkort som kukar ur:_)
