Final Fantasy XIV

wow, jag har aldrig riktigt vetad vad final fantasy är, men det ser ju bra ut? Någon som kan berätta lite hur spelsystemet är uppbyggt?

Oh vad jag väntar på detta spel!
Önskade bara att jag var med i alphan och kunde testa.

Spele XI ett tag dock så var det rätt segt att det hela tiden krävdes att man hade en grupp...
Hoppas att XIV är bättre än XI.

Har läst nånstanns att man väljer själv om man vill spela ensam eller med en grupp. Tror till och med att man kan välja lite vilken svårhetsgrad man kan ha på questen... Men mycket hinner ändra ännu då det bara är i Alpha stadie..

Hoppas verkligen man får en plats i betan

En annan grej som många klagat på är också nuvarande strids system men det kommer också att göras om helt och håller innan betan börjar.

Nå som sagt, det är Alpha ännu

SquareEnix vill väl int ens att folk ska få se hur spelet ser ut i nuvarande form just p.g.a. att så mycket kommer att ändra.

Från vad jag läst om det så har jag höga förväntningar iaf, kul om vi får igång en FFXIV diskussion här på sweclockers

Ah va nice! Då kanske man vågar hoppas på en beta i Juli redan? eller åtminstone Augusti?

Frågan är om man ska skaffa det till PC eller PS3... Hmmm.
Hade varit riktigt nice till PS3, slippa punga upp för ett nytt grafikkort.

Kan rekommendera att tanka ner Final Fantasy XIV benchmarken bara för att se den.

Q. Will end game content contain more open area boss fights or will there be more focus on dungeons?

A. We do know the ending of the first story but of course we can't tell you what the ending of the story is. The story that will lead you to a secret area, but we can't reveal anything about that right now.

Q. Will classes have their own special sets of armor?

A. Yes, there will be because in FFXIV the equipment itself is going to be meaning more for the class the player is being. There will be high end equipments for that class.

Q. Is there going to be chocobo breeding and chocobo racing in this game?

A. For this Final Fantasy, chocobo have a unique place but we can't tell you anymore about them at this time. There will be more information closer to release.

Q. About how many classes do you plan on releasing in this game?

A. We will be introducing more classes even after the launch of the game, so it will be continuously increasing. It will depend on how development goes and how the users react to see how far we go. We already have tens of thousands and we should be able to impliment them at any time.

Q. Will there be player-owned land?

A. We will be making announcements shortly, so look forward to that. We are trying to impliment that so players can have something that they own.

Q. Do you intend to have things like guilds and guild banks for people to share?

A. For FFXI there was Linkshells and for FFXIV we will have Linkshells as well along with something like a higher level Linkshell system called a Company. In this Company, things you do will affect things you own in the game. Also, larger Companies will be able to have something like a community website that is more personallized that will display stats. There will be more information about this Company later on in development.

Q. Is there anything unique in this game? Anything that makes it stand out?

A. There are a few points about this game: The armory system and the guild link system. In the armory system you will be able to change you class or even create your own class and even learn your own abilities, which is something unique, we believe. The Guild Link system will allow people to play on their own or in a group if they want. We think it's a really good system.

Q. What kind of measures are you taking to prevent the RMT (Real Money Trade)?

A. We will not accept any real currency in exchange for in-game currency, we will forbid it by agreements. We all contiuously work with operations teams to help prevent it.

Q. Will there any type of achievements or trophies to show off defeated bosses or special things done?

A. Yes, we do have a lot of plans. For example, for some quests there will be special rewards. You might be able to get special title depending on what you do, there will be several different things you can get to show off what you've done.

Q. Is there anything else you would like to tell the players and fans about the game?

A. We are pleased to announce the beta verson coming out soon. In this beta version, there is a new system called a Retainer, which means players will be able to leave their character or avatar so they will be able to enjoy the game while their offline and people will be able to see them.

Also from a community standpoint, comments and suggestions we've recieved from the alpha were very helpful and we want the players know that the game has evolved a lot and we will continue to look forward to comments and suggestions in the beta. We also plan to open the beta window much wider so we can have more people try the game and test it.

förövrigt, med dator i sign fick jag 4046 poäng i benchmarktestet i 1080p.

En liten fråga, någon som vet hur man ändrar region när kontot redan är registrerat , mitt är tydligen reggat till NA från den tiden jag lirade FFXI. Deras account management sida är ju inte direkt fylld med valmöjligheter. Tar jag bort mitt nuvarande konto kan jag iaf inte använda min e-mail för att regga ett nytt konto.

Har läst många trådar om poäng i denna benchmark och ingen med crossfire/sli får sitt andra kort registrerat.
Verkar ej ha stöd för det.

Jag fick 4458 i testet. Crossfire fungerar inte i benchmarken. Enbart en av mina kärnor användes enligt gpu-z. Under testet återfanns denna typ av hack i grafen:

Lyckas inte hitta någon info om hur man ändrar Region kontot är registrerat till. Och Benchmarken totalvägrar att funka. Får Has stoped working medelande oavsett vilka settings jag testat o köra med.

Bara att maila dem och förklara läget. Dock kommer det ta ett bra tag för dem att reda ut ditt bekymmer. SE´s kundsupport är sämst

Jag fick endast 2901 med min dator, testade tidigare bara för att se hur benchmarken såg ut och då hade jag igång en massa saker i bakgrunden men mina poäng blev ändå samma.

Har dock 2560x1600 i upplösning i windows så benchmarken hamnar i ett fönster hehe.

Hade du liknade hack i grafen som jag?

Hur menar du med hack i grafiken? Eftersom för mig hackar det inte alls.

*edit* Ah du menar de låga värden ibland, tydligen ska det vara så när den byter scen.

har testat ladda ner den filen men får det fortfarande inte att fungera

installera nyaste directx 9 packet från m$

Märkte du av dippar i grafen- sådana som jag hade- när du körde benchmarken? De var nämligen konstanta hos mig under hela testets gång :/

Kommer köpa till både PC och PS3'n

Väntat länge på FF XIV.

vet att det är tidigt men finns det möjligtvis folk här på sweclockers som skulle tycka om o lira ihop i ffxiv, har 2st polare till som vi alla lirat ffxi i 3 år (slutade innan wings of the godess), hade varit kul med ett "stort" gäng svenskar o lira med, var inte så himla gott om oss i ffxi.
bara en tanke, nu när dem skall introducera "Company" i ffxiv med, verkar lovande. Beta om ca 1 månad enligt famitsu's intervju med SE på E3.
