So, we decided to see which cooling systems are best for cooling a pair of dual-core Opteron processors, with a specific focus on how well different cooling systems work in a low-noise environment. In order to test, we grabbed two of AMD's top of the line Opteron 275 processors and stuffed them in a chassis next to a hot GeForce 7800 GTX card in order to test the efficiency of various dual processor cooling systems. We tested in a closed chassis environment with fans all tuned at 5V for minimal noise creation. Let's see how our various Opteron coolers stack up.
