GTX 780 problem vid installation

Hej! Som ni kanske märkt hade Komplett en rea på sina MSI GTX 780 kort, vilket jag passade på att köpa eftersom mitt GTX 460 börjar bli lite väl gammalt.
När jag kopplade in det så blev det bara ett blinkande vitt " _ " i vänstra hörnet på skärmen, kommer alltså inte ens till BIO's. Jag har ett 750watts nätagg och en i7a samt 8GB ram så borde inte vara några problem.

Har hört att man ska uppdatera BIOs för att det ska funka, jag testade ladda hem den senaste versionen av z68a-gd65 (g3) moderkortet jag har på MSI's hemsida, la in det på ett 4GB USB-minne och testade starta om datorn, men då står det bara "NO OPERATINGSYSTEM DETECTED" även om jag har valt USB som förstaval.

När jag dessutom testade dubbelklicka på exe'n på usb't när jag hade ändrat tillbaka till mitt gamla grafikkort så laddade det men ingenting hände, När jag sedan testade ändra om l settings så det skulle öppnas upp i 640x480 istället så står det "MISSING IMPORTANT FILE", Så vet inte vad jag ska göra längre.. kan någon rädda min alla hjärtansdag? Be MSI skicka en fil som faktist funkar? Dom gamla versionerna jag sett på andra sidor har brutna länkar :S

Har liknande problem. Kan inte uppdatera mitt moderkort. Får exakt samma fel när stickan sitter i USB-ingången. Hjälp sökes

UPDATE!

Har fått det att funka, Köpte ett ASrock Z77 Extreme 3 moderkort, och då funkade allt som det ska på direkten. MSI's senaste filer på deras hemsida för bio's verkade sakna filer så man inte kunde uppdatera BIO's, samma sak med de.. äldre filerna..? I vilket fall så funkar det nu, även om det kostade 1100:- mer än planerat.

Ni måste ju göra bootbara USB stickor. BIOS filen gör inte automatiskt att USB minnet hittas och startas.

T.ex.

Default Make A bootable USb drive For Flashing From DOS
Get This and follow the Instructions below:
Version 2.06 Bootable USB Drive.rar

This is the HP USB Boot Drive Software with DOS System files and Instructions included.
Create a folder for this and Extract (unRar) it.

USB drives and portable disks are more in than Floppy drives and CDs these days.
So here is a short tutorial on how you can make a USB drive or a portable drive a bootable disk to rescue system and run your System (Windows) without a floppy or CD disk.

Follow these steps to make USB drive bootable:

Install the HP utility (HP USB Disk Storage Format).
Open installed utility (HP USB Disk Storage Format) and in ‘Device’ field select device that you want to make bootable (USB drive etc),
Also check the option ‘Create A DOS Startup Disk’.
NOTE: ANY Files already on this USB device will be Erased !!!
Now press the browse button to locate the BOOT folder (extracted from this rar file) and hit the Start button.

These simple steps will make your USB drive (or any other portable drive) a bootable drive.
To use this bootable drive on any computer always go to Bios Setting to select USB drive as ‘First Boot Device’.

Copy your BIOS to this USB drive.

Reboot with this USB Drive in and use the appropriate commands for your DOS Flash tool to flash the BIOS.

Precis. Kom på vad mitt problem var, Avast blockerade/skulle söka igenom varje gång jag skulle att köra exe-filen via USB.

Gjorde rätt från början, men Avast strulade till det.

En annan sak att tänka på är att om man skall uppdatera bios för att få den kompatibel med ett nytt grafikkort så kan man inte göra detta med det nya kortet monterat, man måste göra detta med ett grafikkort som är kompatibelt med den bios man har.
Efter uppdateringen sätter man i det nya grafikkortet.
