I'm writing this in english, since i hope people in other countries can find this thread through search engines. Forgive me for my spelling and grammar.
I was having trouble putting two Evga gtx 970 cards in SLI. And looking around for answers i came to a conclusion (I even called technical support for the first time ever to double check). Sadly, i got no, and can't give a fix for it. But i'll give you the cause.
I have been running Sli with other gpus before and never ran into trouble, aside from usual driver issues. Overall i'm happy with Sli.
I'm not sure if this applies to other brands or chips, but Evga has produced 3 types of 970s, and every type has variations (Sc, Scc...). Most noticeable difference is the fan type (acx, acz+) and the size of these cards. They do NOT Sli between the types. You will get a "connect the sli bridge" message in nvidia settings, even though you did connect them properly.
It's a difference in vBios design, i believe. And EVGA has strayed away from nVidias standards for Sli. But i could be wrong.
Since Evga is quite silent about this i thought i could help somebody out since most of the help from other users is useless since it deals with other problems related to graphics/sli.
With that said, i urge you keep in mind that you could be having compatible cards, but another problem. This is a specific solution for a specific problem.
