Minnestillverkaren Kingston får tre modeller ur serien ValueRAM DDR3L certifierade av Intel för användning tillsammans med Westmere-EP, uppföljaren till arkitekturen Nehalem. Geof Findlay på Intel berättar att processortillverkaren arbetat tillsammans med Kingston i utvecklingen av de nya lågspänningsmodulerna.
Intel worked closely with Kingston in developing and certifying their low-voltage DDR3L memory for our upcoming Westmere-EP triple-channel server platform. Kingston's low voltage server memory combined with Intel's 32nm processor utilizing the Westmere architecture will help datacenters increase performance while reducing overall energy costs.
Minnena arbetar i 1 333 MHz (CL9) vid 1,35 volt. Modellerna kommer i tre variationer; 1 GB (Single Rank x8), 2 GB (Single Rank x4) och 2 GB (Dual Rank x8) – alla med tre års garanti.
