Det fina med N100 är att det går precis lika bra att använda den i en stationär dator som i en bärbar. Intel har varit väldigt mån om att få stöd för SLI hos dess eantusiastplattform Skulltrail vilken vi tidigare rapporterade om här på SweClockers.
What many don't know is that N100 the chip that enables SLI on the notebook can do the same for the desktop market. As Intel was really anxious to get SLI for its super high end gaming platform codenamed Skulltrail, Nvidia simply told intel that getting SLI is a matter of buying the N100 chip.
Enligt Fudzilla ska moderkortet som används i Skulltrail-plattformen vara utrustat med just N100-kretsen. I framtiden är det också mycket möjligt att fler tillverkare än Intel ges möjligheten att använda denna krets på sina moderkort.
Nvidia ends up with more money from SLI chip, Intel gets SLI and it makes everyone satisfied especially if you are Nvidia.
