Antec 1200 + H70

Hi, I have bought the H70 water cooling system to my antec 1200, and want to say to all of you antec 1200 owners that H70 doesn't fit on your upper back fan area.
It would fit if it would be like 1 cm smaller...

I have not tried to twist the radiator 90 degrees though, would it fit then?

This is the way you have to mount the H70 and the way I think that the majority of the heat will flow

This will lead to that the majority of heat will flow through the radiator. Not much of the hot air will flow through through the 200mm fan and the upper 120mm fan.

Any objections? Tips?

Hi Misklahr
Thank you for your question and also for the detailed drawing.
As I see from the picture you are installing the H70 in the right place – the second below option for the 120mm fan space. it should be no problem fitting the H70 there and even having another 120 mm fan running above it.
Can you tell me which side exactly does not fit? Is it because of the CPU or are these the graphics cards below. The upper slot for the graphics cards might be blocked by the water cooling system, however if you lower the motherboard placement – that might be an option?

Can you maybe take a picture of your system for me to get a better understanding or give accurate dimenssions of the components inside?

Many thanks,
Antec Support

Here are two pictures of my system.
I have edited them, so that the H70, the fan above it, and the graphics card are a bit lighter.

The thing is that I want to have the radiator at the top back fan, at the fan above the one that I have the radiator at now.

PS.
Is is possible to have the radiator upside down, or turned 90 degrees?
