Custom color profile support, something that will ever come?

So a couple of months ago I got myself my first proper gaming screen, a 144hz Asus 24". But unfortunately it turned out to have quite washed out colors. But luckily enough I found through some searching a custom color profile that was nice.

Only issue seems to be whenever I play a fullscreen game and then shut it off, the color profile resets itself.
So I have to go back into the settings for it and re-enable. Doesn't matter if I use the color profile options in windows or in the nvidia control panel. So googling this problem I found out that many have the same issues and they said (a few different sources said same thing) that it's because Nvidia graphics cards doesn't store the color profile on a hardware level, which apperantly AMD does (no clue about that as I haven't had AMD for years).

Not to mention that if a game only have fullscreen options (no borderless) it won't use the custom color profile anyway. So assuming it has something to do with that.

But is this something we'll ever see with Nvidia cards/drivers? Because it's a bit annoying having to use 3rd party software to keep color profiles active and/or find other similar solutions.

P.S. It seems to happen on a few (very few) borderless games to when it's shut down for me, Diablo 3 for example. Playing that in borderless, and it uses my custom color profile. But it resets it anyway when shutting down the game, but not always.

I don think games in general use color profiles, if you want it always you will havet to make the changes in your monitor settings.

I for example use a Samsung monitor with hardware calibration and a calibration tool. You can however use such a tool on any monitor as long as you have RGB settings in your monitor.
