Wetbanch 2.0 is a project I built for a good friend of mine, who fell in love with Wetbanch BC1, a personal project which was built 2021.
This newer incarnation of Wetbench required amazing hardware with sharp looks, at an even more compact formfactor than the last. It was created at the beginning of 2023, and shipped out to my friend in USA durnig summer of last year.
With the updated hardware came some unique challenges, such as how one could improve on the first wetbench design with the some of the best hardware while maintaining a design language which suits the purpose of the machine itself. Industrial and practicality was the theme of the previous wetbench, so this design would serve as the basis for this new revision as well.
I wished to improve on the cleanliness of the new design by tidying up the tubing and how it was all routed together. I also wanted the tubing to almost run parallel to each other. I needed to make the radiators more stable with this model. And I also needed to reduce the overall footprint of this revision.
So with these design madates in place, I set out on creating this newest Wetbench 2.0, and overall, I am very pleased with the results! I love how it turned out, and I hope that you enjoy it as well.
