The IdeaPad carries two graphics cores: The integrated Radeon R6 chip and the dedicated Radeon R5 M330 GPU. The integrated graphics chip is enabled in routine use and battery mode. Both cores work together in performance-driven applications (AMD Dual Graphics). The two AMD GPUs operate in CrossFire mode and take turns in calculating frames (Alternate Frame Rendering). That is the difference to switchable graphics. The latter only utilizes the dedicated GPU. The 3DMark benchmarks scores place the dual graphics solution between the GeForce 920M and GeForce 930M graphics cards in terms of performance. The dual graphics solution installed here is called Radeon R6 M340DX. It can be disabled in the laptop's BIOS. Only the integrated GPU is then active.

The dual graphics solution does not seem to function without errors. The benchmark in the game "Dirt Rally" could not be launched. The game recurrently crashed. The same happened when starting the game "Thief". In this case, a crashing graphics driver was responsible.
