Efter lite snabbt googlande på FATAL ERROR : DD3D50:

GTA IV (PC) - Minimum System Requirements:

* OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3
* Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz
* Memory: 1.5GB, 16GB Free Hard Drive Space
* Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900

Ditt Grafikkort är helt enkelt för klent tyvärr.

Det är en bugg, har inget med vare sig grafikkort eller Direct X att göra (DX anges ofta som boven).

När jag fick detta problem så fanns det inget som funkade, inte ens ominstallation.

Till slut efter nån månad så fixa jag en annan kopia, och sedan gick det fint att ominstallera. Notera att jag spelat ca 30% utan problem innan "DD3D-grejen" dök upp...

RMN20 - Windows Vista: Need to have Service Pack 1 or higher to proceed.
RMN30 - Windows XP 64 / Server 2003: Need to have Service Pack 2 or higher to proceed.
RMN40 - Windows XP: Need to have Service Pack 3 or higher to proceed.
DD3D50 - D3D Error - DirectX 9 video card required
