Antec 300 - Front panel cables too short.

I have one Antec 300 chassis, and I like it.
However I had a small problem with it, just like the title mentions.
One cable to the front panel are too short.

The cable for the USB-ports on the front barely reaches the motherboards internal USB-connectors.
In most cases, these internal USB ports are located at the bottom on the motherboard, in my case an "Asus M4A79 Deluxe"

The cable for the font panel audio jacks are WAY TOO SHORT.
I hat to extend this cable, and I had to create my own cable extender since these type of cables don't have any extension-cables on the market.

In most cases, the audio panel connectors on most motherboards, are located at the most far away corner on the motherboards, and if a sound card are used, most users like me, prefers to place the soundcard at the bottom slot.

I'm not asking for support.
I just want to make a request to get longer front panel cables, long enough for them to be routed around the backside and then up again.

I know the Antec 300 is a budget chassis, but aren't these extremely short cables a bit.... extreme?

Medlem

Just a little hint before chosing what hardware to buy, check the layout of the MB and ask around. for example with a P5Q Pro MB there is no problem with the front USB cables.

Thank you for your message.
I understand your situation and as Apilas said most mainboards have the connection on a closer location. Also keep in mind you do not want to make the cable too long for all kind of reasons, one is that you need to be sure of the quality.

I wil add this message to my suggestion list which will go to our HQ.
