DA6XL Dual Chamber

I would like to present a new project for you all, this Streacom DA6XL. I created this mod in collaboration with Streacom to show off how amazing this chassis can showcase your PC components. My idea which I wished to show was the PC made as a dual chamber design, with one side housing the components, and the other chamber housing a radiator and reservoir package, which could be detached and used as a standalone package.

The first decision was to use custom cables made from a clear silicon based wire for the PSU cables which I lit internally with LED lighting. This made the cables really pop out with this project, and could enhance the colour theme in such a way that is uncommon for a custom PC build.

Silver and chrome components and watercooling where carefully chosen to offset the black details of the DA6XL chassis, and the black ZMT tubing used to transport fluid between the water cooled components.

The radiator/reservoir tower package features a modified DA6XL where the bottom was cut away to accomodate the watercooling, and the controller for the fans which are sandwhiched between 2 radiators.

This computer has the honour of being shown at Computex 2023, and some video footage from various media sources on YouTube can be found.

I know I have said it before and I will gladly say it again:

Amazing work, well executed and the attention to details are on another level! I would love to have one of your builds on my desk!
Please keep sharing your work, thanks!

What was the hardest obstacle to overcome during the building process?

Cheers once again for the awesome comment! These galleries aren't getting so much attention as before, so I might have to start getting into video, haha. I'll keep sharing though as long as galleries are available on SweC!

The hardest part of all this is to get out of the planning process, as trying to come up with new ideas that no one has tested is exponentially harder as the level of modding has grown to a point where it is a professional level with artisans creating such immaculate projects, with perfect social media to promote said builds. It is easy for me to get stuck in a hole of planning and taking too long to execute.

Once I get building though, it is pretty much a flow-state of doing until I end up with a finished project.

Give it a go for yourself. You might just end up addicted as I am.

"Hannes has taken a CrossHair IV Formula, a Lian Li case and plenty of BitsPower watercooling and created more than a case mod; Theory is a work of art. With attention to detail so fine that he even polished the ROG board capacitors, Theory is modding at legendary standards" - ASUS
