H70 on Sandy Bridge

Hey! I've asked around here on SweClockers and some other forums about this but of course, no one can say for sure if the H70 will fit on a Sandy Bridge motherboard, but maybe you can, Blackbeard?

I'm thinking to buy the H70 to my current computer and wonder if I will be able to use it later when I'm going to buy Sandy Bridge, would be very happy about an answer, I think you will be one of few that can actually say for sure if it will work, or are the mounting holes different on Sandy Bridge (1155) than they are on other sockets like 1156 and 1366?

Ye, thanks for the answer I compared some pictures of 1155 and 1156 and the mounting holes looks to be the same, hopefully it will work!

^^ Jag svarar ändå, man får inte bumpa sina trådar och svaret jag fick där var bra med bilderna, det ser ut att passa, men jag vill ändå ha mer svar angående det och kanske ett svar från en på Corsair som kan svara med säkerhet att det funkar.

Jo, men eftersom inte Intel finns här på forumet och det antagligen tar väldigt lång tid för dom att svara på det så frågade jag här istället. Tack för länken och svaret, då vet jag att de är lika
