Obsidian 800D headphone jack problem

Hello
When i plug in my headphones (Sennheiser HD558) in the front headphone jack, i get a wierd noise, even when there isn't any music on. But as soon as i plug them in to the motherboard, the noise is gone. I've seen other people on the web with the same problem, but haven't found any solution. Is there anything that i can do to fix it?
I bought the case 2010-07-05.

I would imagine it's some interference due to the front panel being connected to a motherboard audio header, via a cable. The motherboard 3.5mm jack is likely a more direct / shielded signal path. Try to make sure the cable carrying the audio signal is kept as separate from other cables/components as possible.
