There seams to be NO vents on it. Is the air suppose to go in and out with the cables?

Apart from the on/off-"button" I really like it

This is my favourite concept so far, I really like the retro feel it has
I assume the back, where the space for cables is, is a door with hinges so its easy to plug in screens and networkcables etc.

If you look at the 2nd picture there are clearly some ventilation holes
And as there is a huge fan in the bottom i would guess that there will be some holes in the bottom aswell.

The design is interesting. I´m not sure if I like it or not but here are some thoughts:

I´m not sure if I got a good sense of scale from the pictures but it looks like you bolted a cube case to a small chair. Had I done something like that I wouldn´t go near my comp for fear of tipping it over High center of gravity and all that.

Too many USB ports on the top. Most cases have two or four on the front/top, you have six. Consider replacing two of them with eSATA and/or FireWire.

Little space for big graphics cards. Not really a problem if gamers aren´t your target customers.

The on/off switch is a bit exposed. Someone might have to connect something in a hurry and bump the switch, turning the computer off. Rage follows and computer flies out the window.

The cables from the I/O-ports must either have angled connectors or be bent very sharply to stay inside the case on their way down to the hole at the bottom. Especially the DVI connector for the graphics card.

Nu har jag inte läst de andra kommentarerna så jag vet inte om det har frågats redan, i så fall kan du ignorera det här:

Fläkten i botten... går den in eller ut? Vart suger den in alt blåser ut luften? Ser inga hål alls. :/

Really like it. I would prefer if there was some way of fixing so outgoing cables could be drawn within the frame/base of the case (and maybe going out through a leg). Not nice having cables hanging out in the air 50cm up. I realise this may be a problem with the rotating bit but you could possibly arrange it so that it would rotate max 180 degrees in each direction with a stop at each end, giving it a total 360 degree rotation.

Tycker detta ser mycket trevligt ut, vad jag skulle se som nödvändigt var dock att stödet gick att ta av/alt en modell med fötter istället då den tar rätt mycket plats.

In my opinion, putting the USB-ports, powerswitch, and 2.5mm-ports on top like you did in your first picture does not fit the overall design very well. Plugging in a flashdrive or two would completely ruin the 50's design.

First, the on/off switch i hideous and completely ruined the whole feel of the piece for me. Second, dont have so many ports on the top, it takes away the feeling of sleekness you get from the rest om the piece.

If i was to decide, i would put an "invisible" on/off swith there or maybe in the center, that illuminates on power-up and maybe changes color for sleep mode etc.

And about the ports, i would put them on the front instead , if there is a front on this thing, i think it would add to the retro feeling of it all and make it look more like a very old tv or radio, but if you insist on having them where youve put them allready, put only essential ports on the top, 6+ usb ports is not essential, and audio does not necessarily have to be there either, but if you put them all on the front i think you can get away with that extreme number of ports.

I love it! When can I buy one?

If it fits an ATX-board that's cool but m-ATX is fine too, might even be preferable since housing an ATX-board might make the chassi too large to still be aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Är väl inte så otroligt att det är där när 90% av alla kablarna i princip kopplas till samma ställe (moderkortet)

Det är snarare bara en kabelkanal och kablarna sätts i bakom panelen som garanterat är avtagbar.

Ergo, det är monterat som ett vanlig moderkort.

Det är ett snyggt retrochassi du har gjort och jag tror många skulle vilja köpa det. Kanske framförallt tjejer. Jag är 100% säker på att min inredningstokiga syster skulle dumpat sin mac och köpt en.

Men för "gamers" är jag tveksam. Luftflödet känns dåligt. Om inte fläkten är väldigt kraftig. Men risken finns då att det låter mycket. Kanske hade man kunnat haft möjligheten att sätta extra fläktar på sidorna.

Jag brukar bekymra mig väldigt mycket för kablarna när jag väljer chassi. Men vad jag ser på dina bilder så borde inte kablarna vara något problem. Man borde kunna fästa dem på sidorna. Hade varit bra om det fanns någon sorts fästen där för kablarna.

Vibrationer från hdd tänker jag också på. Det känns som att det kommer att låta mycket från hdds. HDD låter inte så mycket för sig men chassin har en tendens att öka ljudet mycket. Jag är inte säker men det ser ut som att HDD platserna är rätt stora, kanske 5.25? I så fall kunde man haft ljuddämpande racks inkluderat med lådan.

Men kort sagt, tveksam till om chassit passar till gamers men den hade troligen blivit otroligt populär hos de som vill ha ett chassi som passar till inredningen. "Vanliga människor..."
