Prodigy | SENSATION

Hello and welcome.

This is the gallery for my latest creation based on a BITFENIX Prodigy chassis which I have given the name "Prodigy | SENSATION". This build has been going on from late 2012 until start of 2014 where it reached the finish line 29 Januari. Many parts have been designed from scratch and produced using CAD software and generators for voronoi-diagram which is the math behind the biologic and natural flow of the coverplates and fanguards. Lasercutting, watercutting, powdercoating and sticker printer/cutting are techniques that have been used, just to name the coolest ones, all thanks to my dear friends. All cables have been sleeved and cut to right length and many have even been made from scratch. Custom handpicked waterloop with biggest single radiator that fitted the footprint. Colorscheme is a cameleont one and sets for a white/blue theme in daylight and a UV/white-blue in the cosy nightmode.

The story behind this build

The short but very thrue story behind this build:

Old computer with external watercooling didn´t fit on new desktop after moving apartment and started to get old and slow. What to do? Build something new!
In this time Bitfenix released their PRODIGY chassis and i was sold. But as with truth we all know that there´s modification right? My head started spinning and i wanted this new system to be at least as original as the old one, include internal watercooling solution, look frekkin awesome and last but not least, it must be a one of a kind build with stuff i had not seen already done by someone else.

As I am an engineer I use CAD softwares on a daily basis (hourly basis...) and I also have friends and connections that can help me with occasionally sheetmetal cutting. Therefore when i started design this build I had a pretty big room for new idéas and what techniques to use.

The hardware was decided when the build first was started and therefor already old today, some parts have already been replaced and some modifications will be made even after this is finished. The main goal is to have a computer ready for daily use including tasks such as: photo editing/managing, 3D-CAD, gaming and media entertainment.
