Help with coax cable

If like you seem to say, haven't really tried anything you should search for channels in the DVB-C-mode of your tv (assuming it has one, which they normally do if they're not quite old). If that doesn't work you could try the analogue mode, but that has usually been switched off.

You don't always need to input the number, but if it doesn't work without it, one can try that. I haven't had to input it with ComHem (which merged with Tele2), but I did ~15 years ago with Tele2Vision (which was sold to Bredbandsbolaget/Telenor...).

So what does the manual for your TV say about ”auto tuning”, ”cable search”, ”channel list” etc?

Either the missed to add that chapter in their manual or it doesnt have any coax module just a port for it cause the motherboard/chassi is shared with some model that has a tv module.

It's not a source. It is just an "antenna" cable for the internal tuner.

(You just plug the cable in the other way round depending on if it's a radio or tv, assuming there's still any radio signal in the cable network, which there might not be.)
