Mobilen dog - vad göra nu med Google authenticator?

Hej

Jag har mina recovery keys sparade så hur gör jag då för att t.ex. logga in på Facebook?

När du sätter upp respektive tjänst för 2-faktor så får du ett gäng backup-koder som tjänsterna brukar be dig tex skriva ut, eller spara på annat säkert ställe för att använda i just det här syftet.

edit: missade läsa att du hade dina koder sparade. Vad jag vet ska det bara vara att använda valfri av dom koderna istället för koden från appen när tex facebook ber om din 2-fa kod

I don't have my old phone any more. What do I do?

Lost your old phone or it doesn't work any more? Don't worry. There are still ways for you to regain Google Authenticator and use it on a new device.

If you have backup codes, you can enter those on your new device and you're good to go. Not sure where you put them? Log into your Google Account then click Security. From there, scroll down to 2-Step Verification and enter your password. On the next page, scroll down to Backup Codes and click on Show Codes to get your pre-existing backup codes to add to the new device.

There are 10 codes and each of them can only be used once. It is possible to generate new ones though by clicking on Show Codes then clicking Get New Codes.

Tack. Det där har jag läst men kanske har jag missförstått det.
Koderna jag fick där sparade jag ner (för jag antar att de är backup-koder för Google). Efter det kom det en QR-kod som jag skannad med Google authenticator-appen och då lades Google. Men hur använder jag mina backup-koder för att t.ex. logga in på Facebook? Var ska jag knappa in dem?

Känner mig förvirrad och lite stressad över detta så sorry om det är något enkelt jag missar eller inte förstår.

Edit: Tror jag var på väg att lösa det. Tack för hjälpen.
