Blackout Mod - Z170i Pro Gaming

I'm soon starting a new project and I'm planning on using my Z170i Pro Gaming motherboard. I'm not planning on going red/black theme which means I need to do something about all red details. I'm also doing some small work removing stickers and labels, cleaning the board up. Results turned out great!

First thing I need to peel of all ugly stickers, and there's a lot of them on this board.

The battery module on this board is more or less just a battery hooked up to a very small connected, about a year ago I heat shrinked it up to cover the ugly red/black cable, but I felt it didn't look too good

So I peeled it off again, exposing the cable. I'll paint this with regular spray paint.

I've now disconnected all heatsinks with red details.

And after a few minutes of heating the sink I managed to peel of this metal badge

Looks way cleaner now!

now on to the mosfet heat sinks and the battery cable

I masked them up for two reasons - One; I don't *need* to paint the entire thing, I only need to cover the top. Two; I don't want to insulate the heat underneath the paint, I want them to breathe as much as they can.

wow it turned out reallyl great, and the black paint have more or less the exact same color as the original heat sink camouflaging the job very well!

Jobs done. I'm very happy with the results!
