Hello Crozzfajor,
see you are activ still with Q02,
I´just prepare my Q02 for update to:)
GPU HD7770 to g"your tested" ainward 660, hehehe
additionally, will set up 3x HDD 2,5" 1GB-7mm each, below ODD (has to move PSU down for app.10mm) for media sourse, to replace my extternal HDD 2x bay, and 1x SATA will be used for 128GB SSD Samsung 840 or 830 as game source placed on the ODD
ODD will be link to USB 2 header via adapter from Delock, becasue i have "only" 4x SATA internal conectors
Hope that my original PSU FSP300 can support all of them too,
Maybe, i should improve heat flow becasue of new GPU and HDDm, if there is a space, I´would place a fan in front panel I/O, Noiseblocker 80x15mm NB black silent pro, need to mode front panel too, so can get suck for GPU iinsideto case, suck from PCU to case, blow from PSU/bakc side and Noiseblocker/front side outside of case,
Contact via Ipad/wlan/XBMC or/and Itune, works nice also WOL
have to award HDMI-CEC adapter for TV-PC-(AVR maybe) control with one remote.

what do you think about it?
Why did you replace GPU with 650 - any thermal reason or?!
How was old configuration at all?

Hey Vienna, nice seeing you here!

I think your plan is pretty awesome, make sure you use HDDs with low TDP.
IF I would do something similar, I would probably consider to put all the HDD's (SSD's) on the front panel and place a 120 mm fan on top of the case instead (with some modding ofc). Doing that will create a natural airflow I think. And of course I won't use any optical ODD, I doubt I will ever use one again. But that's just a thought

Concerning GPU's, I would recommend you to use ASUS mini cards (670 or 760) if you haven't bought the Gainward yet. ) I would unhesitating buy one of those if I didn't already own the Gainward 660.

I "downgraded" my Q02 because another project is on my mind (which I mentioned on the pictures in my album). I will use the I5 and the 660 for a SLI configuration ) And no, the old rig was running compeletely fine!
