Project C.Through [Buildlog 2016 COMPLETE]

Hi,

My name is jojo haralds and i am a 30 year old Casemodder from iceland,(this is my first post thought i introduce my self real quick)

Here is my newly started project i really wanted to share with you.
(Since i already started on this one some time back i will just be posting all the posts in one)

Project C. Trough

First off i would like to thank Coolermaster for making this Possible,

Also would like to thank Icemodz.com for always beeing there for me with there awsome
Sleeved cables and Led´s

And HUGE Thank you to Gigabyte for profiding me with the awsome Z97 SOC motherboard

In this build i will be building in the Coolermaster Master Case 5 with some minor changes to the structual design (since the guys over @ coolermaster together with some of the best modders out there already did a heck of good job on designing this beast of a case )
Watercooling components will be from Bitspower ,Ek waterblocks,Primochill and some more,
For other components like motherboard Gpu and ram we will see if buy some new stuff along the way or just use what i have

Lets get this started with the Unboxing of the Coolermaster Case,

well the fun has started....
ripped off the frontpanel ....
starting to work from there.

since it is late at night right now and all the stores are closed i thought well lets try the extra top panel conversion a got aswell

I think it looks great .....but why not make it possible to install a 360 radiator the same way in the top.(since this bracket is clearly thought for aio waterxooling units.)

But i will work my way around that i guess 😆

Stripped out the drive Cages and that was the most easy swap you will ever experience in any computercase

Everything is easy detacheble and no problem to attach later if needed with one or two thumbscrews .

I however was a little dissapointed that they have decided to strict the use of Radiator Thickness and "placement".
you will not be able to fit all 360 rads in the front and most likely won´t be able to fit a 360 rad on top,but they made a really nice bracket for AIO or 240mm radiators (thumbs up for that)

Well i just will have to find a way aroiund that

Hey everyone got some stuff in right before the weekend,

1x 240 EK PE radiator
2x 120 EK PE radiators
1x mini res from Bitspower (With air valve)

and some new Ghost fittings from Primochill

next i will have to buy some paint stuff and materials,

no i haven´t had any problems so far ,this case is a real charm to work with,
what size of radiator did you use?
since mine is a 240mm .

Starting on getting hardware into the case and planing from there,
since i want everything to fit nice and clean,withoug getting a too crouded overall look,

First thing is the Powersupply,which too comes from coolermaster
and is the V1000 which should be more than enough for this Build

Here are a few Pictures to show you how easy it is to install a PSU in the Master Case 5 Pro.

Painting the Top of my corsair dominator dimms ,to match the colourtheme.

After letting the primer dry over night i sanded it a little bit and gave it some paint .

Well the dominator ram is all back together .
cleaned the Gpu blocks while i was at it.
and installed the 4790k into his new Home.
The Gigabyte z97x SOC will suit him well and maybe even get him a nice sable Overclock ☺

And the fun keeps on goin.....
cleaning the cpu block from bitspower .
installimg the cpu block onto the motherboard.
putting some colour on the gpu.
and got the liquid for this project.

Some christmas modding 😊

Merry Christmas to all of you.

finished the paint on the fans for the front panel .

started on on the cover for the psu compartment.
and slowly starting to plan the loop.

since i will be using 4 ssd's and one HDD i started on makeing an ssd mount which also covered the whole back behind the front radiator a little better.

for this mount i used 5mm acrylic
and painted it glossy black
screwed that into the holes already present in the mastercase 5.

and i tested the painted fans in the case.

working on some cablemanagement.
the mastercase 5 offers a great variaty of it already.....but...there is always a way to improve or ....two.

Psu cover almost done.
case temp meter and liquid temp meter installed.

started on the cable routing for the motherboard
and will start on tubing.

Also re did the cover for the boytom compartment.
and the front cover is done C.Through style.

the dual pumps are in the basement so i have to rout 2 tubes from the bottom and through the midplate cover.
The tubing inam using isnthe Primochill PETG .

Almost readdy to fill her up.
