in an extremely poor way of handling the issue they have closed the thread on their forum and censored some of the content (that did not break any rules)

As far as I can tell for now that means websites/stores from Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey and Germany.

so us scandinavians are fucked, or forced to use the german store maybe?
with censored games and ultraexpensive EUR-prices...
Greenman started this autumn in a very good way by changing to USD for us swedes but it appears it is going back to the old price and region discrimination towards EU-customers again.
you will lose a lot of customers if you continue down this road

Why don't you see it like a GMG expansion? Why don't you think that GMG would try to came in your country too? ^^
This is how I see it.

Because I am not naive.
My long experience of the total disregard from companies towards the the four freedoms within EU in favour of regionalizing and dividing into small regions for maximizing profit, or just backrubbing, (especially regarding digital services) has made me a cynic regarding the possiblity of true competition within EU.
Also I do not want GMG to regionalize. I want it to be a EU-wide store, the great thing with digital is that there are no physical boundaries to make things difficult and there are no (supposed to be any) local laws that prohibit (see the recent pub cable tv case from the EU court) the possibility for companies and citizens to shop from anywhere within EU.
The only thing stopping true competition within EU are the companies themselves that do not want competition, they want full control. And they gain this control with ancient licence systems that effectively divides EU into regions allowing them to control the pricing of their products in a way that is noncompetitive negating the true foundations of EU.
