We're going to introduce a really new architecture that will work well with our partners for the best performance. We're going to start sampling it at the end of 2007 and roll it out in 2008.
AMD har tidigare gått ut med information om att deras nästa generations arkitektur kommer att lanseras under 2007, vilket gör det möjligt att Ruiz pratar om uppföljaren till K8L, skriver Tech Report. Dessutom tillade han:
We’re in the throes of finalizing the architecture we’re going to introduce next, and that’s going to be killer.
Någon information om denna arkitektur, eller K8L, avslöjade dock inte Ruiz. Men med tanke på att Intels uppföljare till Core beräknas till 2008 (kallad Nehalem) vore det inte omöjligt om AMD också skulle börja med tätare arkitekturbyten.
Men Tech Report skriver att det helt enkelt kan röra sig om en miss hos Busniess Week och att Ruiz pratar om K8L men att de helt enkelt tog fel på åren.
