Corsair Force SSD Issue

I have a Corsair Force 60GB SSD which is installed in a Thinkpad W500 laptop (type number 4063-B17). The laptop runs Windows 7 (64-bit Professional).

When the computer is running (i.e. not in sleep mode) I often get a black screen and the following error code/message:
"ERROR
2100: HDD0 (Hard disk drive) initialization error (1)
Press <ESC> to continue"

I am able to restart the computer after a while with a cold re-boot (pressing <ESC> again results in failure to initialize the disk).

Try turning off Hybrid Sleep Mode (there's a guide here: Turn Off Hybrid Sleep in Windows 7 — MAXIMUMpcguides – Windows 7 tips, tricks, help, and how-to guides) and disable suspend to RAM too (suspend to disk is okay).

These issues should be sorted in an upcoming firmware release.

Thank you for your reply. However, I have already tried the suggested solution without success (no surprise since the BSOD occurs when the system is not in sleep/hybrid sleep/hibernation).

Furthermore, I have followed this thread in the Corsair forum for about three months:
CSSD-F60GB2 BSOD - The Corsair Support Forums

In that time there has been no update in the matter. Therefore I want to know what my return options are?

There is a firmware update coming, but if you'd prefer to return then I'd first contact your reseller about that, or you can do it via the Corsair website (Techsupport Express).
