Let us start by apologizing to you for the inconvinience that you have suffered by the unintended mail burst in your inbox during the last weekend. This was not by any way intentional from Gainward nor from Levonline. Levonline is the ISP for this mailing list.

The problems was caused by an configuration error which occurred when the mailing list software was upgraded by Levonline. This made it possible for all the members of the list to post messages to the mailing list. A number of replies generated a lot of mails to all subscribers of the list. The configuration that usually stops this to happen was lost during the upgrade. Levonline is currently putting every single resource to find out a solution on how a thing like this will not be able to occur again. Levonline sincerely hopes that this issue has not caused any great damage to Gainward.
Gainward Nordic has for the last couple of years been using Levonline as a service provider for their web, mail and mailing list and is very pleased with Levonline's service and hope that Gainward will be able to continue this cooperation in the future as well.
In regards to the question how mail addresses in our mailing list where obtained; Gainward can inform that registration to the list is possible in three different ways.
- By participating in any previous competitions that was hosted by Gainward Nordic.
- Through registration on Gainwards forum
- Through the registry form on the Gainward website.
Non of the addresses have been retrieved from any external mail address supplier. The registry of addresses were re-imported to the mailing list during the configuration of the mailing list; due to this, some of the previously unsubscribed addresses may unfortunately have been added again.
