Problem with 650D

Today the fan system on my Corsair Obsidian 650D stop working as it should, 2 of the fans stopt working completely and 2 is working on realy low speed as thay dont get the voltage thay need on max speed setting on the chassi. I used voltagemeater and only got 2,7V and i should get atleast 10V on max speed.

I googled the problem and i'm not alone to get this sort of thing, apparently the fan controller is fried and dont get the voltage it needs.
One of sweclockers members had the same problem and contacted corsair and they told him that the early models of 650d had a bad fancontroler that easely broke.

Same happend to me today ! every fan stopped working exept just 1 with very low speed. I bought my case just 2 month ago and the fancontroller is already fried it seems =/

dont slow down your fans, kinda kills teh fan controller itself.. to have to manualy slow down 5-6fans..

Problem with my fans.

Same thing happend to me a week ago, all my fans stopped working except the cpu fan. Are there any solutions to this? Or do i need to buy a new Fan Controller?

Sorry to hear that. Do you know if the fan connected to the fan controller works if you plug them into the fan header of the MB? if they do work, then it does suggest that it is most likely an issue with the fan controller built in to the case. Try to check the molex connector that is connected to the PSU and see if any of the pins came off from the housing. If they are properly seated and still not getting power, then we will need to send you a new fan controller.

Sorry that i didnt answer so fast, had some things to do. I've tried the things you said and all the fans work when i connected them to the MB.
I checked the housing and all the pins was in place. I now have the fans connected to the MB and the computer is now running smooth.
So the problem is the fan controller.

No problem Verics0n and thanks for trying what I have suggested. We'll send you a new fan controller. Please submit a ticket at Corsair.force.com and we can set up a replacement for you. There is no need for you to send out the faulty fan controller, we'll simply send you a replacement.
