About the AX850

Hello!

I just bought an AX850W.
Since I've heard good things about it, but when i opened the box I noticed something.
The 6pin PCI-E cables use 12-pin connections to the PSU, wich is quite logical, however,
when I was going to connect my ATX_12V_2X4 to the MB, I found that it, too, used the
12-pin connector, of wich the AX850 only has 2 slots, so if I want to give my CPU power,
I can't use 2 Graphic cards with PCI-E connections.
I had to use adapters that came with the graphics card, it uses 2 molex connectors into 1 PCI-E.
And I don't know where the problem lies, but the fan on the graphic card that uses these adapters
is running at full speed, so now I'm not using the second graphics card.

I was abit worried the first day though, I didn't know that the fan was semi-passive, so that only at
25 or 50% use it starts to spin, wich made me think it was damaged or defective.

Anyways, the question would be; Should I use the Molex adapters, and should that work, or do I need to change it to perhaps a HX1000 or something?

The two 12-pin connectors at the top-right of the PSU connector panel can both be used for PCI-E connectors OR for PCI-E and CPU. The EPS12V connector will fit into the plug next to these (it's split into an 8-pin and a 4-pin - 12-pins total).

This should mean you can have all the PCI-E connectors available, so there's no need for molex-PCI-E adapters.
