MSI GT780 new design laptop [in english]

My problem is that i want a computer that can play both battlefield 3 and diablo 3 on high settings. So thats why i am waiting to buy at the moment. If the 560 can do that i would have bought it a s a p , but nobody knows the specs for this games. But i guess a 570 will most definetly do it.

Gtx 560m in that resolution will play almost every game maxed out. for example, black ops at 60fps, crysis 2 (almost highest settings) at 40fps

Mr Nomaru , what will the specc be on the msi:s which will have 570 and 580 and what will the prices be? Or is it to early for you to realease those numbers..

Do you think it is worth it waiting 2 months for the gtx570m? i would love to have it before summer ends, so i might buy the gtx560m. but how much difference is it really between the 2? if you can play crysis to on high with the 560, and on very high with 580, where will the 570 be? :s

I am personally waiting 2 months or so to get one with a better graphic card, since i am waiting for bf3 and diablo 3.

Would be nice to get a official price and or specc on those msi:s that are coming out in september by nomaru

they haven´t said the exact price but nomaru said maybe 100-150 euros more, and according to some english sites it will have the gtx570 and an ssd on 120gb along with a 750gb 7200rpm hdd.

i dont think it will be cheap then if its with an ssd also will cost 18k+ ??

i would guess around 16-17k, i dont know if the price nomaru said was only with the new gpu or including the ssd and that other stuff.

with the gtx560m you can play crysis 2 on high settings, shouldn´t that be enough to play atleast diablo on high aswell? and bf3... that shouldn´t be so far away from the crysis 2 specs maybe with all the destruction going on.... but i dont know if i want to wait another 2 months (currently waited for 3 for this version of the gt780) just to be able to get that extra kick to play higher settings as i said before, 560 can play on high, 580 on very high, so 570... i dont know

and you can always upgrade to an ssd whenever you want, too bad you can´t buy the gpu:s seperatly
thats one of the downsides with a laptop...

yup i agree, but i dont play any particular game at the moment, so for me personally i can wait
but sure if we had the speccs and benchmarks on the 570 then its easier to make up your mind.

yea :/ i have googled for 2 days, and can only find benchmarks on the 560 and 580, not 570

is is written "msi sends a mouse and gaming bag with the laptop (although the gt780 does not fit in the bag)

Is this correct info? i know they can be wrong, but if they are right, you can´t be serious that you include a bag that the laptop doesn´t even fit in. that would be just.... stupid. please give me an answer to clear this up

Hello Nomaru. I saw the article at this site about GT780R and saw you commenting there. I am also a member of notebookreview forums and we are absolutely thrilled about the beautiful design MSI have come up with.

Anyhow, I am very interested in the GT780DXR version that is supposed to be released August sometime with the GTX 570M. But what I`m very eager to know is if you plan on using Optimus or MSI`s own GPU switching for this laptop? That would mean so much because the option to shut down the power hungry heat spreading 80W GPU is Alpha and Omega

Nomaru, was the bag indeed too small? when i bought mine (yey!! ) i didnt get a msi gaming bag. and i see that they have removed the bag from the gt780.

the notebook is great and i love it, but this was kinda a big screw up

and i couldn´t be more satisfied the gt780 fits perfect and there are plenty of room left for headset, mouse etc... you even get a sleeve you can pull over the bag if its raining
